The journey begins in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, witha cultural tour featuring the lovely squares of Quattro Canti, Pizza Pretoria and Piazza Bellini.  Ancient Greek culture comes to life during a guided tour of the Valley of the Temples, in Agrigento, Sicily.  We will have a day to explore the jewel of Sicily, the historic hill top town of Taormina which is known for its charming atmosphere, significant monuments and flowering gardens before we travel for a two night stay on the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, where the Mediterranean Sea and mountains meet.  History will come alive during our guided visit to the ancient Roman city of Pompeii at the foothills of Mount Vesuvius.  We will have saved the best for last as we journey to Rome, the magnificent capital of Italy for an unforgettable tour of the Roman Forum, the Vatican, the famous Colosseum and more.

During our tour, we will stay at the Westin Hotel in Long Beach.  On day two, we will travel to Pasadena to see first hand the final touches being made to the floats that will be in the Tournament of Roses parade; then see the many talented musicians, dancers and auxiliary performers in action during Bandfest; and then take in the performance of the amazing "Glory of Christmas Show" at the Crystal Cathedral.  We willring in 2010 in style with a New Year's Eve Gala Dinner dance, live entertainment and a champagne toast to the New year.  On day 4 - New year's day, we will travel to Pasadena and our reserved seating for prime viewing of the Tournament of Roses Parade, which has been a grand tradition each New Year's day since 1890.  After Dinner, we will enjoy another evening of live entertainment that has been carefully orchestrated just for us.
