NEIGHBORHOOD AWARENESS PROGRAM

NAP is a crime watch program supervised by the Marion County Sheriff's Office. It was organized in late 1997 and early 1998 when a "screwdriver burglar" was busy burglarizing many communities in Marion County.
NAP members patrol all of Oak Run and specially assigned areas adjacent including the Walmart Center and all the businesses around it, Timber Ridge and the adjacent area across the road as far north as the Shell Station on SR 200. Members are expected to patrol 2 hours per month and to attend one monthly meeting (1 hr). The patrol car is provided by the Sheriff's Dept. - currently a Toyota Prius.

To become a member of NAP please contact:
Bette Crouse (Chairperson) at 873-0871
