Open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday and 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon Saturday
The Oak Run Library is NOT part of ORHA.  Present any Library issues to the Head Librarian.
The Library is run entirely by volunteers. Both men and women may volunteer to be librarians for
two or three hours every other week. New volunteers start as substitutes. Sign up in the Library.

The Library will be closed on the following days:

Library membership cards are free for all Oak Run Residents. Replacement
of mutilated/broken ca
rds is also free. Replacement of lost card is $2.


The following may be borrowed for two weeks and renewed once for another two-week period. Overdue fine
is 10¢ per day. Replacement fee is $15 for lost or non-repairable books and replacement costs for other items.

Large Print Books
A MAXIMUM of 4 "Items" can be borrowed during any visit. "Items" include Hardback Books, Books
on Cassette and CD, Music CD's, and 2-week Videos & DVD's.  Up to 2 "Items" can be new books.
NEW BOOKS - Books less than 6 months old may be borrowed for two weeks with no renewal.  Overdue
fine is 10¢ per day. Replacement fee is $15 for lost or non-repairable books. New books include several
copies of all the best sellers and also some
Large Print Books. New books are kept in a separate bookcase.


DVD's
Popular movies are obtained when released for sale. Movies may be borrowed overnight except those
borrowed on Friday and Saturday are due back on Monday.  There is no limit on the quantity of DVD's
that can be borrowed during any visit.
A $2 deposit is required for DVD's, with $1 returned when the
DVD is returned on time. Late fee is $1/day. Replacement fee for lost DVD's is actual replacement cost.
Paperback Books, Jigsaw Puzzles and Magazines
All Paperback books, Jigsaw Puzzles and Magazines have been contributed. They may be borrowed
and returned in a timely manner when you are finished with them.  Up to 10 Paperbacks and an
unlimited number of Jigsaw Puzzles can be borrowed during any visit. Magazines in the Magazine
Rack are available for reading in the library. Older magazines on a separate shelf may be taken home.
 

Friends of the Library
The "Friends of the Library" organization supports the library.  Friends meets five times each year to
discuss library activities, enjoy guest entertainment and refreshments. Membership is $3 per year.

Donations
Magazines, hardback and paperback books, cassette books, videos, CD's, DVD's and jigsaw
puzzles may be given to the library. Books should be newer that 1990 and in good condition.
